We often make choices from habit and don't realize that these could be made using intuition. Daily choices such as what to eat, which vitamins to take, and what to wear can be made with intuitive methods. Our results show that the answers change from day to day, week to week, month to month, and season to season. This makes sense as we change and the world around us changes. It is confirming when we find that our intuitive answers follow general trends. For example, Gale's intuitive results show no need for Vitamin D in the summer but a significant need in the winter months. He has found that his intuitive need for the things that help the body fight disease (Vitamin C, Echinacea, garlic, etc.) can start before he feels sick. An Exercise: Go to an event based on your intuitive answer. A good choice is when your logical answer is no but your intuitive answer is yes. Pay close attention to all of the experience. For example, you may not like the event, just as your logical mind said. But you may meet someone there or have an experience on the way to or from the event that is significant. An Exercise: Make a list of what you feel you need to do on a particular day and prioritize them logically. Then prioritize them using your intuitive method. Record the priority (1st, 2nd, etc.) for each one and then see which method works better. An Exercise: Decide whether or not to take a coat, hat, or other item when the weather is changeable. Caveat: Don't decide if intuition is useful based on feedback from a few cases. Often there is something going on beyond our awareness, so there can be a reason why intuition provided a good answer, even if the feedback doesn't show it. For example, Gale did not take a hat one day based on his intuitive answer, and it did rain briefly. However, on that day, he realized that he went a number of places and based on past experience, could have forgotten his hat at one of them. Who knows? However, with a variety of experiences over time, Gale has learned that the intuitive answer is better much more often than the logical one and often for reasons that he never considered.
