When making important life choices, there is no substitute for practice. With practice comes experience. If you feel that you have not had enough experience, try the following: Use your intuitive method(s) more than once and if time allows, under different conditions
Use more than one intuitive method
Meditate (meditation is a gateway to other intuitive methods)
Pay attention to what is happening around you
Carefully examine the available information and use logic and good judgment
Read through Improving Intuitive Decision Making and When It Doesn't Work (or Seems Like It Doesn't)
Seek advice from someone you trust.
Ask a friend to use their intuition (be careful, see Making Intuitive Decisions for Others) Remember that no matter what the intuitive answer is or seems to be, that we are still responsible for the decisions that we make. So it is good not to consider intuitive answers as absolute (see Maintaining Perspective). The situation of having a difficult decision to make can be a good reminder that we need to practice on less important choices. Back to The Second Secret | ||
