Come from inside rather than outside. As humans, we react to the world around us. Partly this is important for survival. It is also a matter of conditioning, what we are taught by others and by our culture. We look at the people around us for support, for teaching, for approval, for companionship, for love, and for much more. What is going on around us not only affects how we feel and how we think, but also how we see the world. The view of the authors of the workshop is that our pure essence lies deep inside of us. This can be called Soul and it is in this essence that we find our true self, the true self that transcends the physical world. It is also our view that intuition includes the Soul. The challenge is to come from inside, from our Soul, rather than from what is happening around us. If we come from our Soul, then what is happening around us is not as important.
